Design Blog Intro — The Commitment

I have been mentoring and leading multi-disciplined digital product design teams for over 20 years and am often saddened by the fundamental lack of understanding of process, techniques and most importantly mindset required to design products that solve real problems and make people fall in love with them.

Through this endeavor I hope to communicate my deep passion for the subject, and provide an in-depth, clear and critical take on major aspects of product design. Bearing in mind my background, I will also refer to case studies and references both of products I have been involved in building as well as those that I love and use personally.

Finally, at a personal level I have taken this up as a personal challenge. I have a demanding full time job in a product startup that’s always going through some kind of a roller coaster, have a family with 2 teenagers and soon intend to run a business on the side. BUT, I’m going to post something each and every week. It’s going to be tough, but I want you all to know that I’m making a promise to write something, each and every day.
