Fantastic insight! It would help if the interviewers are a little more specific and ask pointed questions about recent work, how has formal education helped in the career, passions other than work etc... , rather than the open-ended "Tell me something about yourself..." which I make sure neither to use as ice-breaker, nor to find everything about the prospect in 5 min.
